Samsung Exhibit II 4G on T-Mobile Plans

"In the design front, the only thing new about this conventional looking handset is that it omits the optical trackpad from before, and utilizes a plasticy patterned design back cover . Not surprisingly, it feels little bit on the cheap side, but then again, it's a little bit better than your typical prepaid phone. "Calls sounded fine through a Jawbone Era Bluetooth headset ($129, 4 stars). There's no voice dialing over Bluetooth, which makes hands-free use while driving perilous. The speakerphone was fine for quiet environments but could have used more volume. Battery life was fine at 9 hours and 37 minutes of talk time, in a mix of less-demanding 2G and Wi-Fi modes." 3.5/5 Stars

"The Samsung Exhibit II 4G is certainly not a celebration of industrial design. With its dark color scheme, the device looks downright dull. The lack of any signs or logos at its front gives the impression that you are looking at a cheap Chinese knockoff. It is regrettable that the pleasant design of the Galaxy W was not implemented here."

"Like the original Exhibit, the Exhibit II 4G has a front-facing VGA camera above the screen. The camera isn't stellar on its own, but it's pretty great to have around for video chats and easy self-portraits. Beneath the screen there are the four touch-sensitive buttons currently typical for smartphones, which is a shame because I was quite partial to the physical Home button on the original Exhibit; it gave the phone some character." 3.5/5 Stars
