"Multimedia fans will find much to like here. There's 16GB of internal storage, plus a microSD card slot underneath the battery cover; my 32GB SanDisk card worked fine. You don't have to pull the battery to swap cards like you do with the HTC Vivid, which is a big plus. Music tracks sounded full and vibrant through Samsung Modus HM6450 Bluetooth headphones ($99, 4 stars). " 4.5/5

"The browser on the Galaxy S II Skyrocket is just as good as we saw on the other models. The larger display makes reading websites slightly more comfortable, and webpages loaded very quickly. The Skyrocket still has the cool tilt-to-zoom gestures that the other models have and you can also pinch-to-zoom, which works effortlessly. The Skyrocket has support for Adobe Flash Player, so embedded videos are accessible on most all websites. " 44/50

Positive

"Call quality? No problem. As with the other members of the family, we heard the other line clearly with no static and the speakerphone is definitely on the loud side -- for both making calls and playing back media such as movies or music. As always, network quality varies from place to place and may have an effect on dropping calls, but we didn't lose a conversation once in our abode, which consistently hovers around three to four bars of signal. "The Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket has a beautiful 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Plus display along with a dual-core 1.5GHz processor, an NFC chip, and support for AT&T's LTE network. It ships with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and has an 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video capture and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera." 8.2/10

"The Samsung Skyrocket has an 8-megapixel camera that performs admirably in most cases but I was a little underwhelmed with low-light shooting and shot-to-shot time. We've seen how well Galaxy S II devices stack up to other top phones with photos before and I still believe the iPhone 4S and Amaze 4G are slightly ahead of the Skyrocket but only by a hair. I found the Skyrocket produced clear shots that reproduced colors well and blew up nicely." 8/10

Positive

"The Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket had great in-call quality and the sound was crisp and loud. Reception was good and we didn’t suffer dropped calls though, in areas of very poor coverage, the sound would naturally break up."

"The first thing that strikes you about the Samsung Skyrocket is its size. Due to its 4.5-inch display, the phone has quite a large footprint. At 5.15 inches tall by 2.75 inches wide by 0.37 inch thick, the Skyrocket is not the most pocket-friendly of phones. Yet, its smooth curves do make it more comfortable to hold than other large handsets. " 4/5 Stars
