Earthlink's plans for stand-alone, high speed internet offer a variety of download speeds ranging from 100 Mbps to 5 Gbps.
Fiber Connection
Earthlink's high speed internet is provided using fiber-optic cables that transmit data as light pulses which allows for super fast internet service. Fiber typically transmits data at speeds that exceed current DSL or cable modem speeds. Speeds vary depending on the modem configuration, internet and server traffic, conditions in external environments, condition of the inside wiring and equipment, network management, and many other factors.
Installation
EarthLink offers professional installment of their internet directly to your home for a one time fee. This process includes wiring check, modem install, and speed test optimization. A No-Show Fee Policy will be triggered for customers who are not present or who refuse service at the time of installation for Wired Internet Service accounts. The fee will equal the price of the installation fee.
Modem Options
EarthLink will provide customers with their high speed modem for a monthly fee.
