Leaked T-Mobile T-Mix plans tie your perks and phone deals to a new "picks" system
- T-Mobile T-Mix is a rumored new lineup of three plans (Standard, More, and Loaded) that leaked on Reddit in early October 2026.
- Leaked pricing starts at $65/month for one line on Standard, with More at $85, and Loaded at $105 (before AutoPay discounts, taxes, and fees).
- Each plan includes a set number of "picks" you can spend on perks like YouTube Premium or Xbox Game Pass, or on phone promos.
- T-Mobile hasn't confirmed T-Mix, but the plans could launch as soon as late October 2026.
If you're a T-Mobile customer, there's a decent chance you've had to look up what your own plan includes this year. Between this summer's forced upgrades for grandfathered plans and August's "2.0" refresh, keeping track of T-Mobile's current lineup is almost impossible.
T-Mobile appears to be preparing yet another new plan lineup called T-Mix, and it could change how you get both perks and phone deals.
The details come from the r/tmobile subreddit, where user u/desterpot posted full pricing for all 15 T-Mix plan variants and a list of phone promos tied to a new "picks" system. While the subreddit has a long track record of surfacing T-Mobile changes before they go official, T-Mobile hasn't confirmed any of this, so details could still change before launch, or the rollout may never actually happen.
T-Mobile T-Mix plan pricing: What the leak shows
T-Mix brings T-Mobile back to a three-tier lineup: Standard, More, and Loaded. There are 15 versions in total, since each tier also comes in 55+, First Responder, Military, and Student versions.
Here's the leaked monthly pricing for the regular version of each plan. These prices don't include the AutoPay discount, taxes, or fees.
| Plan | 1 line | 2 lines | 3 lines | 4 lines | 5 lines | Max lines |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| T-Mix Standard | $65 | $105 | $130 | $155 | $180 | 6 |
| T-Mix More | $85 | $150 | $185 | $220 | $255 | 12 |
| T-Mix Loaded | $105 | $180 | $230 | $280 | $330 | 12 |
T-Mix Standard looks a lot like Essentials 2.0 with picks added. It includes unlimited talk, text, and data, and 50GB of premium data.
More and Loaded will look more familiar since their Experience 2.0 counterparts already include perks. T-Mix More includes unlimited premium data and 60GB of hotspot data, which mirrors Experience More 2.0 but is reportedly $5 cheaper for a single line. T-Mix Loaded includes unlimited premium data and 250GB of hotspot data, matching Experience Beyond 2.0.
How T-Mobile T-Mix picks work: One budget for perks and phone deals
T-Mix also changes how perks and phone deals work. Each plan gives your account a set number of picks, a kind of plan currency you can spend on either streaming perks or phone promotions.
According to a comment on u/desterpot's thread, the number of picks you get depends on your plan tier and how many lines you have:
- T-Mix Standard: You get one pick per line, capped at 4 picks per account. That cap holds even though Standard allows up to six lines.
- T-Mix More: You get two picks per line for your first three lines, then one more pick for each line after that. It tops out at 12 picks.
- T-Mix Loaded: You start with 3 picks for one line, and the total climbs to a max of 20 picks.
Phone deals and custom perks come out of the same pile of picks.
On the phone side, the leaked promo list prices each deal with a set number of picks. A promo for $1,200 off an iPhone with an eligible trade-in costs 3 picks, while $1,100 off a Motorola Razr costs 2 picks. Some lower-value phone promos reportedly don't cost any picks at all.
If you're happy with your phone, your picks can go towards premium perks instead. A tipster sent The Mobile Report screenshots of T-Mobile's account add-on list, which shows ESPN Unlimited, YouTube Premium (or Premium Lite), Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Google AI Pro, Google AI Plus with 2TB of storage, DashPass by DoorDash, SiriusXM All Access, and 500 Delta miles per month. Rumors suggest early switchers to the new plan may also qualify for perks like Netflix Premium and Apple TV+ for a lower number of picks.
If the leak is accurate, family plans with top-tier lines will qualify for the best deals and perks. A single line on T-Mix More gets 2 picks, which isn't enough for that 3-pick iPhone deal. A single line on Loaded gets exactly 3, so the iPhone promo could use up every pick on the account and leave nothing for perks.
T-Mix vs. Verizon myPlan: Two ways to sell you perks
If picking your own perks sounds familiar, that's because Verizon is already doing it (sort of). Verizon's myPlan lets you start with one of three base unlimited plans, beginning at $65/month, then add perks like the Disney Bundle or Apple One on top.
The big difference is how you pay. With myPlan, most perks cost about $10/month each, so the price shows up as a line item on your bill. If you don't want any perks, you don't have to pay for them. With T-Mix, a limited number of perks are included, but you pay for them with picks you might want for a phone deal later.
| Feature | T-Mobile T-Mix (leaked) | Verizon myPlan |
|---|---|---|
| Plan tiers | Standard, More, Loaded | Unlimited Welcome, Unlimited Plus, Unlimited Ultimate |
| Starting price (one line) | $65/month before AutoPay | $65/month with AutoPay |
| How you get perks | Spend picks included with your plan | Pay about $10/month per perk |
| Phone promos | Some cost picks from the same budget as perks | Separate from perks |
| Real cost of adding a perk | One less pick for a phone deal | A higher monthly bill |
To be fair, T-Mix could come out ahead for someone who keeps their phone for years and wants a few subscriptions thrown in. A three-line T-Mix More account would get 6 picks to go towards streaming services or other benefits with no added cost. Six $10 perks on Verizon would add $60/month to your bill.
That said, myPlan is much easier to understand. You know exactly what each perk costs, and choosing the Disney Bundle or additional mobile hotspot data will not impact your next iPhone deal.
Why T-Mix may mean less value from T-Mobile plans
Back in August, I wrote about how T-Mobile stretched its device payment plans from 24 to 36 months and cut the yearly upgrade perk from Experience Beyond, essentially offering customers less value for their money.
T-Mix looks like the next step in the same direction. Today, the phone promos you qualify for mostly depend on which plan you have. Under T-Mix, those promos may replace a subscription to a streaming service or other T-Mobile benefit.
It's likely that increasing phone and plan prices are making carrier promos more expensive to fund, so T-Mobile wants customers to "pay" for them somewhere. To its credit, T-Mobile was the last major carrier offering a broad suite of free perks. Verizon switched to a paid model years ago, and AT&T simply eliminated all perks from its plans with no replacement. Unfortunately, while T-Mobile is framing these changes as more choice, the end result is less plan value for roughly the same monthly price.
Should you switch to a T-Mobile T-Mix plan?
Not yet, and probably not on day one. If you're happy with your current T-Mobile plan, there's no reason to move until T-Mobile explains exactly how picks work.
T-Mobile also hasn't announced T-Mix yet, and the launch has reportedly slipped more than once already. Signs now point to late October 2026, and another commenter on r/tmobile claims the plans are already being tested in select stores.
Once T-Mix launches, your current plan will likely become grandfathered, meaning new customers can't sign up for it, but you can keep it. Just know that grandfathered plans can still get price hikes, so keep an eye on your bill. T-Mobile can also eventually force customers to upgrade from their old plans, which is what happened to grandfathered Magenta customers earlier this year.
In the meantime, make a quick list of the perks you actually use and whether you plan to upgrade your phone in the next year or two. Those two answers will tell you whether T-Mix beats your current plan, or whether switching carriers makes more sense.
